Norway is one of the countries in Europe that will make your trip truly unforgettable.
It has many renowned attractions, but it’s the landscape that makes this country exceptional.
Norway has many mountains and glaciers, which provide the perfect setting for skiing and other winter sports.
Here are three things to check out that make Norway perhaps the most beautiful country in the world.
Norwegian beaches
While the water temperatures are everything but warm, Norway has extensive beaches on the North Sea, and there are many ways to enjoy them.
Surfing is definitely possible if you wear a full length suit, but other slightly less activities is to go fishing, take a boat tour or even go whale watching.
There are also many towns along Norway’s coast that are absolute must-visits, such as Trondheim and Stavanger.
Stavanger is one of the prettiest towns in Norway, with colorful houses and quaint walking streets.
The Norwegian waterfalls
Norway has a lot of waterfalls, many of them listed as the most beautiful in the world.
In fact, the country is sometimes referred to as the “Land of a thousand waterfalls”.
Some of the best waterfalls to check out are Manafossen, LÃ¥tefossen and the Seven Sisters.
The Norwegian fjords
The fjords are what Norway is most famous for, and for a very good reason.
Not even the Milford Sounds in New Zealand can compete with the beauty of the norwegian fjords.
The best way to explore the fjords is to go slow, there are so many cool things to see that you really shouldn’t rush it.
Take a cruise on Hurtigrutten or other ships that travel through the fjords, get off at the different ports, and get up high on the mountains to get that incredible view.
